Individual, Couples, and Family therapies are a process through which clients work one-on-one with a licensed counselor. Sessions are in a safe, caring, confidential, and non-judgmental environment where clients explore their feelings, behaviors, or beliefs while addressing challenges to work through and analyze personal history by identifying various aspects of their lives. Through this exploration, they understand what they would like or need to change, understanding themselves better and those around them. They can set personal goals as they work toward the desired change.
People seek therapy for various reasons; some seek coping skills due to significant life transitions and changes, some seek to change, some seek relief from childhood trauma, others are dealing with depression or anxiety, or they desire personal growth and greater self-knowledge. A client and counselor continue to work together depending on unique needs and personal goals for therapy.
