Dr. Warner is dual licensed in Colorado as an LPC and CACIII and licensed in Montana as an LCPC specializing in individual, couples, and family therapy. She maintained a private practice in Colorado for seven years and in Montana for ten years, with over twenty-two years of experience as a counselor in both community mental health settings and private practice. Dr. Warner was Addiction Recovery Center’s Director and Program Manager in Yuma, Arizona. In addition served as an Approved Clinical Supervisor and an Adjunct Professor for Graduate Counseling Programs, along with providing counseling, psycho-educational, and groups for individuals in residential treatment, adjudicated individuals, and those with addictive behaviors.
Dr. Warner is also a Mental Health Consultant for the U.S. Department of Defense and provides services through the Military and Family Consultant (MFLC) Program with MHN and Military One Source, including being a network provider for Tricare. In this role, she offers Active Service Members, including the Guard, Reserve Components, Veterans, and their families, coping skills, proven behavioral techniques, and psycho-educational skills necessary to thrive in the face of the challenges presented by the military lifestyle and deployment cycles.
Dr. Warner has a Ph.D. in Christian Counseling from Newburgh Theological Seminary, a Master’s in Counseling from Indiana Wesleyan University, a Master’s in Spiritual Formation from Ashland Theological Seminary, and a B.A. in General Ministry from Bethany University.
Dr. Warner holds the following certifications: National Certified Counselor (NCC) with the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC), Distance Certified Counselor (DCC) with NBCC, Art Therapy, Sand Play Therapy, Addiction Counseling, is an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS), and a Grief Recovery Method Specialist (GRMS).
Dr. Warner holds the following memberships: National Board of Certified Counselors, American Association of Christian Counselors, American Counselor Association, American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy, and Grief Recovery Institute.
